Track 5 - North/South Partnerships – realities and challenges!

Facilitators: Albert Baliesima, CB Samuel and Christian Gossweiler

Drawing on the experience of the facilitators who live and work in the Global South, this track seeks to uncover the issues that dominate the partnerships that exist between Northern organisations and their Southern counterparts. It will ask the question of whose agenda is being followed and sought when partnerships are sought. Building on discussions in the plenary sessions, the track will unpack the positive and negative impact of aid delivery, how dependency impacts values and attitudes by all involved.
