Johannes Reimer was born 1955 in Siberia. As a young Marxist leader he was confronted with the claims of Christ and became a Christian. This almost cost him his life. He later came to Germany and studied Theology both in Germany and the USA and was awarded a doctorate in Theology in 1995.

Professor Reimer teaches at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and directs the Network for Education and Research in Europe (GBFE). He is a man with much practical experience in holistic (missional) church planting, has written a number of books and has a teaching ministry worldwide.
