How can I apply for a visa?

On the website of the German Foreign Office (www.auswaertiges-amt.de) you find the necessary information about visa regulations (Visabestimmungen) for Germany.

What will the weather be like?

Average temperature in April is about 10°C and may vary between 0 und 20°C. In April the weather changes frequently from sunny to rainy.

Are special diets provided?

Please mention in your registration if you are vegetarian. We cannot provide for other diet requirements.

Where do I get a letter of invitation? Does CCD offer sponsorship programs?

Unfortunately, the CCD Conference does not have sponsorship programs or funding available for delegates to attend. CCD is not able to acquire an official invitation to Germany for a visa for participants.

We encourage you to plan early and to seek funding support and/or letter of invitation from your usual support agencies and/or European partner organization if necessary, to enable your participation. Residential conference prices include accommodation, meals and registration fee. Participants will need to meet their own travel costs from their home country and associated entry costs (e.g. visas).

I am planning to attend the conference. Is there some information as to how to get to the conference centre? I am told that I should fly into Frankfurt or Stuttgart airports. Which is best? How would I get from the airport to the conference centre?

Deciding on whether to fly into Stuttgart or Frankfurt airport, I would compare prices.  From Frankfurt to Schoenblick is about 2,5 hours by train, from Stuttgart about 1,5 hours. Follow this link for further Travel Information.

I am having problems with PayPal because I am in a sanctioned country. Please can you give me a chance to solve this without cancelling my registration again. I will try to resolve it within the three weeks, but not sure I am waiting to hear from PayPal.
